The Winners of The ForeGolf Invitational 2011
The tournament is a part of ForeGolf Pass it On - our way of saying thanks to those who help keep the ForeGolf cogs turning and pass on our name to their friends. Its just a shame we couldn't bring every single customer who has sent a friend.
The day is a prize in itself, but lets face it, this is golf and everyone has a competitive streak, so drum roll please for The ForeGolf Invitational 2011 winners
Olwyn Post
1st Prize for best individual Score (Stableford Points)
Olwyn played a stormer and wholeheartedly deserves a return visit to The Old Head on us. We thought what could be better than to play the course again but stay on after and admire the views with a stay in the luxurious Members Suites and breakfast in the de Courcey Restaurant.
Joe Crowley
2nd Prize
Joe is a strong player and probably needed that to gauge the two club wind around the course. He won a 4-Ball on the Palmer course at The K Club and treating three of his mates to a round at the famous Ryder Cup venue. Joe if you're playing for money, don't forget about us !
Alan Dunning
Nearest The Pin on the 7th at Old Head
We asked the guys on tour for something special and boy did they come up with something - a one of a kind TaylorMade White Satin Golf Bag signed by 2011 Open Champion, Darren Clarke. We actually have a photo of Alan measuring his shot at nearest the pin and since he won by a 1/2 inch - it was a close call. That bag is definitely one of a kind and quite a few people were eyeing it up on the day, keep it safe Alan.
Ciaran Curran
Best Nett Shot Score Accumulated over holes 4,5,17 and 18
Ciaran is also treating his mates to a 4 ball at The Palmer course at The K Club in the coming weeks. As one of the last groups in off the course, Ciaran's lowest score over the four most difficult holes at The Old Head showed he held his nerve and some super putts.
We are already working on ForeGolf Pass it On for 2012 and we have big plans in the pipeline. We want to show our appreciation to those who spreading the word of ForeGolf over and over again, so the more friends you send, the better the reward.... watch this space for more updates !
In the meantime keep telling people you play with ForeGolf clubs and they should too. Make sure you're getting the credit and tell them to mention your name.
Here's how it works

- The more friends who get custom fitted, the more points you get.
- Your friend has to tell us you sent them when they book in (or tell us it in the online pre-fit questionnaire) otherwise it doesnt count.

New from Srixon Z-Star Driver & Fairway Woods

A chance meeting with one of the Srixon Tour guys in the US led to us testing the Srixon Z-Star driver with its fully adjustable hosel and weight ports has been one of the biggest success stories of 2011. The dark horse of the golfing products of this year the Z-Star driver stands shoulder to shoulder with the Titleist 910 driver and even the Taylor Made R11 is on the run from this superb driver and fairway wood.
It’s just as long off the tee, just as adjustable with 84 different hosel configurations, just as forgiving and a whole lot cheaper than the other two models. This driver and fairway wood have been so successful in Japan and the USA that they are now as rare as an Irish Masters winner!!
After we tested the driver and 3 wood we were so impressed with the unbelievable performance that we managed to ship in a few case loads ahead of them taking off around the world so do yourself a huge favour and get fitted for one before this dark horse runs off into the sunset.
Exclusive for ForeGolf, the Miyazaki Shafts

We were first introduced to the new Miyazaki shaft at Orlando at The PGA Golf Show and have been pursuing it ever since. Well, we finally managed to secure the exclusive use of it for Ireland. It wasn’t easy to land this big fish but once the guys from Miyazaki saw what we do, they signed us up immediately.
So what makes this shaft so good that we went half way round the world to get it? Well it has new ultra light technology for unbelievable distance and comes with a patented 4 part flex code that allows us to dial in the perfect flex for butt, middle and tip sections of the shaft for our customers. This allows us to produce the perfect shaft to deliver massive distance with unbelievable direction control. We have now the full range for testing and more details on this very special product are on the Miyazaki website.
You heard it here first, this shaft is going to be the next big thing in golf.
Introducing the Flightscope X2 Launch Monitor
We are always pushing the boundaries of what we do and as Worlds #1 we make sure we are at the forefront of everything that keeps our fittings and clubs performing to the very best.
We had looked at Flightscope last year but the software and functionality wasn’t quite where we needed it to be. However, after a recent demonstration of both Trackman and Flightscope, we immediately knew that the new Flightscope X2 was for us. It's wireless functionality is perfect for the tour truck.
It has a whole host of different information screens that allow us the data and information to show our clients how a change of shaft or a newer head design will deliver those exceptional results. It allows us to perform better driver fittings, more conclusive iron data and wedge spin information coupled with shaft flex and flow charts.
The Flightscope doesn’t come cheap and was a pretty serious investment, along with all the demo clubs that are available during our custom fit session but it shows how serious we are about making sure our customers get the very best information and guaranteed results.
